Places to Vacation in Dayton Beach – With a Teenager
Question:
I am looking for a great vacation place near Daytona Beach, FL. We have a teenage girl (15) and she will be taking a friend. We want to find a hotel where there will be plenty of activities to keep them busy. Would love to find one with a water park theme. Any suggestions?

Plaza Resort and Spa. It’s located at 600 North Atlantic Avenue.
Also try the Ocean Walk Resorts. They have a lazy river and are located in a plaza with movie theaters, shops, ect. There are no water park theme hotels here, but there is one with a water slide, but I can’t remember its name.
I’m 24 now but for Christmas 96 and 97 (I was 14 and then 15) we visited Daytona Beach, Florida (from Ireland). We stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel along the beach. It gave a lot of discounts. There is an outdoor pool, plus you’re along the beach.
Silver Springs was great fun and Bush Gardens is a must.
Try the Adams Mark Hotel. It is a nice hotel but still reasonably priced. It is directly on the beach and has a large pool.
Best things is, it is next to the Boardwalk so the teenagers would LOVE it. They could walk (without going far) to games, rides, restaraunts….and depending on where your room is, you could probably still keep an eye on them the entire time.
